Construction: Hull Progess March 23, 2011

We are now at the point in the making of the hull tool where high solids resin which is very easy to sand.  Once the hull is completely coated with the blue it will be sanded and faired using a long sanding board.  When areas of blue are sanded through, another coat of a different color will be applied and the hull sanded again.  This procedure will be repeated until a the hull is completely smooth and no colors show through.
